I purchased the mounts without checking the sizes of phones that me and my husband have and was pleasantly surprised to see that both of our phones (different brands..(Moto and Google Pixel) fit snugly into the mounts. The installation was simple and the phones stayed in place while we rode our bikes around the neighborhood. We have used the phone mounts several times and have not had any problems. Happy customers!
I used several phone holders for biking in the past, so far, this one is the BEST.
Attaching it to the handlebar was easy and did not need any tool. The turning knob is large and easy to turn and it was very secure on the handlebar. It was then easy to just click the phone holder to it.
To fully extend and lock the four "legs" of the holder in place, you just sqeeze on the push plates on the based of the holder. The legs will then lock in place fully extended. You then put the phone on the middle of the base plate and press it down to trigger the button on the base plate to release the legs and they will click to the phone securely. I'm using a Samsung Note 9 with a Speck protective case, the large claws don't have any problem grabbing on to the corners of the case.
I used it on a 16-mile off road mountain biking two days ago. The terrain was pretty rough and the downhill speed was fast. At all times, I paid attention to the phone and it was very secure on the holder. I have front suspension, but the phone did not vibrate at all on the holder, so I was happy. I had my phone popped out of my previous holder where it was secured on four corners using rubber bands. Never again!
On the way home, I realized that I left the phone on the holder and the bike was hung on the bike rack outside! It didn't worry me at all with what I had seen so far, so I just drove home as it was!
The installation required no tools and was self-explanatory and I was able to mount it to the handlebars of my bike in less than 5 minutes. It holds the phone securely while riding and it's easy to pop the phone off when I'm done. I look forward to using it for a long time!
I’ve tried out and used a number of phone holder on my bikes the past 5 years. After my last one collected a little rust and broke at a stress point, it was time to find something better. I discovered this product browsing the store and realized that without the exposed metal components and a simple 4 contact point design, this was the best deal. It was easy to install on my handlebars and able to be used with one hand. It easily surpasses all of these others that you have to measure for your phone as it’s able to adapt to your phone size.
I have had many bikes and phone holders over the years, and lately, have been searching for innovative improvements. Finally, this Bike Phone Mount delivers. It is simple to install, and very flexible, rotating easily but firmly. Mounting and removing the phone could not be easier or quicker. Most importantly, it holds my phone securely, even when riding over speed bumps.
